Honduras Entry Requirements 2022

All passengers entering the territory by land, sea and air that are fully vaccinated must not present negative test result. You are considered a vaccinated passenger if you have at least 14 days after your final shot.

Vaccinated Travelers MUST:

  • Show upon arrival to immigration officer the ORIGINAL and PHYSICAL Vaccination Card that was given to you at the vaccination site.
  • You are not allowed to bring photocopies or digital copies.
  • Travelers from countries with digital proof of vaccination (QR CODE), must print and bring the QR code Statement.
  • If you don’t have your certificate or lost it, you MUST get a replacement card at the vaccination site, where you received your vaccines.

Unvaccinated or Non-Fully Vaccinated Travelers MUST:

  • Show a negative result of PCR or Rapid Antigen Test, carried out in a period not exceeding 72 hours before entering the country.

ALL Travelers Vaccinated or Not MUST:

  • Complete the immigration precheck and Health form at
    INM - Prechequeo Migratorio

  • Follow the biosecurity Measures: use of a mask, social distancing, and gel.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I TEST POSITIVE?
You must quarantine and delay your flight until you are fully recovered. Airlines must refused anyone testing positive.

FOR HOW LONG SHOULD I NEED TO QUARANTINE?
It depends, but until you test negative. Laboratories must tell each patient tested positive what to do. You can self-isolate wherever you are staying or get a new place (depends on your budget). Make sure to follow procedures of wearing your mask and taking your distance.

Travelers must take their passport when performing the COVID test, as the information on the results must match your passport name and number.

Travelers from South America or traveling en route from South America MUST show the Yellow Fever Vaccination Card.
