Is there any news as to when Roatan will be open for visitors again. We were supposed to be down in March and need our fix.

Is Roatan open for travel?

Hello @Chris, We received word this week from Central Government stating the following: On Monday, June 8th Honduras will open internally. On Wednesday, July 15th Honduras will open it’s airports and borders to international travel. I hope this helps.

Does anyone have a particular website or link to current events/changing in daily updates for the island?
I still have not cancelled my trip for July 29th in hopes we will be able to come. Any suggestions are appreciated.

According to the governor of the Bay Islands, no date has yet been set for international arrivals.

The July 15th date is for internal opening up. Airports will reopen, but only for travel within Honduras.
