for car rentals I highly recommend and use frequently Ernesto Zelaya of Ernesto Cars. For $35/day all inclusive he has a fleet of cars from sedans to SUVs which are in good condition and reliable. His number is 9665 6206 He also discounts for longer term rentals. For a place to stay that is close by to shops, restaurants and grocery stores I highly recommend the west part of the island (Sandy Bay thru West Bay) My opinion is the on the east side you are way too far for any necessities of living without a car and there really isn’t any taxis running on that side because all the homes are far off the main roads.
