well they arent popular here and rarely does a realtor suggest you get one. But do it. It amazing how wear and tear on properties happen here. The average cost is around $200. Also be sure to tell the home inspection guide to speak with you directly for their payment. I had an experience that my realtor got an inspection done for me and the man refused to speak to me because it was the realtor who ordered the service. That leads to dishonesty.

Gene DeMarco at Roatan Life does home inspections. Also definitely recommend although you rarely hear of one being done.
