1st Trip to Roatan

We are headed to Roatan in 1 week. We are staying at ibagari & grand roatan. Can anyone give me current updates on the condition & comfort of these 2 hotels?

How & where should we go for a more local experience? First timers; there for 10 days… we want to relax & then enjoy & learn about island life & culture there.
Also good restaurants & bar(s) you recommend…

Can anyone share some light? Ty

We were just there the week before Christmas. Both are in great shape and the restaurants were both fabulous. You wont be dissappointed.
