1st Trip to Roatan

We are headed to Roatan in 1 week. We are staying at ibagari & grand roatan. Can anyone give me current updates on the condition & comfort of these 2 hotels?

How & where should we go for a more local experience? First timers; there for 10 days… we want to relax & then enjoy & learn about island life & culture there.
Also good restaurants & bar(s) you recommend…
