I am a 66 year old American x-pat living in the UK now. I have been planning on retiring to Roatan for a number of years now. COVID has put those plans on hold the last couple of years.
The reason i am posting here is to find out about medication availability on the island.
I have a broken back and take several medications to control pain including time released morphine capsules called “Zomorph”. I take two 100mg 12 hour time release capsules a day. I also have 20mg oxycodone tablets to use for “breakthrough” pain as needed.
My question is:
with reasonable lead time, and going thru proper medical professionals, is there any difficulty obtaining these narcotics?
