I’m looking for a 1-2 bedroom apartment to rent for a minimum of 6 months starting at the end of February. I’d like to have airconditioning and I need to have reliable wifi access.

I suggest Mariposa Lodge or Lands End as two such places…Both are run by capable and easy going managers. Or ask a property management company like Roatan Property Management who has a website as well as an office in Alba Plaza. Or you can try airbnb or vrbo sites which have many Roatan rentals available.
