We are FINALLY returning to Roatan. The last time we were there we left 4 days before the island shut down. Unfortunately we will only be there for the day since this time we are bringing our family on a holiday cruise. We would like to go to West Bay beach for the day on our own. I was wondering if anyone has a contact for a good driver/taxi that we could pre-schedule to pick us up from the port take us to West Bay and then back to the port. There will be 5-6 of us. (depending on if we have to tender) The boat arrives at port on Dec 26th, 10:00am and leaves at 6:00pm Thanks so much!

Since your plans include enjoying the west bay beach for the day; you surely dont need anyone that is going to tour you. That said…which port are you coming into? Mahogany Bay or Roatan Town? either one has loads of taxis awaiting passengers to disembark. You may need 2 taxis for 6 people but it’s very inexpensive and readily available. Or ask the port guard to call you a van if you prefer.

Can have a driver and a mini van, a corola sedan, a bus or a cab or 3 at the port awaiting your group arrival.
