My wife and I are hoping to move to Roatan. We are coming down on July 31 for about 10 days for the first time. This an exploratory visit for us. Can anyone suggest a decent place to stay in Sandy Bay area? Thanks!

You may consider @Blueisland as a place to stay. It is well kept and also offers a restaurant and a dive operation in case you wanted to explore the reef.
I am sure there are other locations, but this should give you a start.

Blue Bahia in Sandy Bay is an excellent resort right on the beach and kept clean and operational by the manager, Suz Nelson. Beach Grill, owned and managed by Rob Baker is on the premises and delivers breakfast-lunch-dinner 7 days a week. Suz can also help you with booking activities. Blue Bahia in Sandy Bay gets my vote.
