Arrived for a 3 month stay. Looking to meet up with locals/expats. I think there is a weekly meeting place if I recall from previous postings. Location? Time and days?

On the East End you can join East End Roatan Happenings and get information on what going on. Most things start 1pm and end by dark.

Every Friday night starting from 630 on at Sundowners in west end you will see many ex-pats and local residents gathering for the music (starts about 730) and along the west end of the island, there are many such venues that ex-pats congregate and are amenable to chatting with new residents or vacationers. Beach Grill in Sandy Bay is another…Ginger’s in West End, etc.

Where is the best source to learn about the East End. Looking at a family move in the next few years and have picked Roatan. Trying to decide which area is best suited for our family.
