Human resources manager

Hello!

I am canadian and thinking of moving to Roatan. I won’t move if it is impossible to find work. While visiting the island, some islanders told me that it would be easy for me to find a job. I am not sure it is that simple. That’s why I am writing this post.

I am a Human Resources Manager with 20 years of experience. I am also an OHS specialist. I have a bachelor in Business Management and certifications in HR and OHS. I’ve worked for different companies (commercial, government, professional services, industry).

I speak English, French and would really appreciate to upgrade my Spanish.

If you ear about something, message me.

Melanie

Let me frank here…your credentials really do not transfer here on Roatan that will provide you with sort of employment. Now if you want a bartending or wait service job there are plenty. If you want to assist at any of the resorts or communities; most likely you will need to register yourself to start residency. Being bilingual is great and if you can brush up your Spanish there are businesses who would be thankful for that skill. But a HR Manager? nah, not really.
