I’m considering retiring from the states, but would want to work at least part time doing something fun but doable for a 65 year old. Provided a person is there as a legal resident, what do job opportunities look like?

as a retired gringo the options are not great for a paying job. surely tho your skills on a mentor basis or volunteer are always welcomed. are you a dive instructor? yes there are possibilities there. But nothing that is considered office work would be readily available…the island is a tourist destination not a business hub. and the pay is very very…did I mention very low? if you are an artisan of some sort there may be opportunities to earn some income that way.
