Purchase of Good Used Vehicle

Hello !! Construction of our house is in full swing, and my husband is spending more time on the island to oversee progress and address any issues.

We are looking to purchase a used vehicle, preferably a pickup truck.

Any recommendations as to where we can purchase a good used vehicle on the island, or would it be better to go to the mainland ??

Car Suggestions

the most common car on the island is the Ford Escape especially if you have the 4X4 WD. Why? Because parts are readily available; many go on sale here from anywhere between $6,000-$10,000 USD and the mechanics on the island know how to repair and maintain. Dont buy Jeep. Toyotas are also popular here for the same reasons. You can find good used cars from the AVIS store here or the KIA store here on the island.
