ROATAN ONLINE (Growth Rate Update)

ROATAN ONLINE (Organic Search Results)

HARD WORK PAYS OFF. We thought we’d take a moment to give you, our community members, a behind the scenes look at our growth graph.

What you’re seeing in the chart below is our Organic Search results for the entire 2018 fiscal year. Organic search is different from paid advertisement. Organic search results are determined by a search engine through user experience and through a variety of key performance indicators like:

  • Time on site
  • Bounce Rate
  • User Engagement
  • Backlinks

The graph above is the growth rate of our Roatan Online website alone, measured against the growth rate of other prominent websites promoting Roatan businesses. We have chosen NOT to list these competitors by name here, for obvious reasons, but if you follow the space closely, you probably have a good sense for who our competitors may be.

Many of our pages now rank on page one for several popular key phrases. So much so, that the largest search engine has recently promoted our website to a top rank for the sought after keyword “Roatan.” - At present, our website toggles in and out of page one for this keyword, but has remained in the hunt for page one for several months now.

We will continue to do our part so that 2019 may award us a permanent spot on page one for all popular key phrases.

We continue to run our business as a “self-funded” project despite having generated sales leads for many local professionals and businesses on Roatan.

Thank you for your continued support and for the vote of confidence over the years. Should you be interested in learning more about our project, and or, if you would like to work with us, please don’t hesitate in contact us directly here on this forum via a private message or simply reply to the thread and we’ll reach out to you privately.

Excellent. I’ve noticed a few of your other sites creeping up in the search results as well. Most notably Roatan.Jobs, Roatan.Tours, and The Roatan Tourism Bureau site all have gained in the search results for their own niche and area of expertise.

Keep up the good work. That’s more progress than we’ve seen in years past.

Oh wow, very nice growth. Keep up the good work, I’ve enjoyed this forum.
